John Barrowman talking about and dedicating his rendition of A Rhinestone Cowboy to Scott Gill at his JB09 Concert at Oxford New Theatre. Ive added words to help you guys understand:
John: Woo that was good, thoroughly enjoyed doing that one! did you find what youre looking for? im so worried about him, arent you tim? yeah, really. ahh there we go. Um, well for those of you who don't know, thats my partner Scott. We've um, been together for about 16 years. Yes. It was very funny when we had our civil partnership, and uh, what was it? Someone tell me cos I am RUBBISH!
Audience Member: 2006!!
John: 3 years, 2006 thankyou very much.. I had 2 shows to do that day! No, um we had our civil partnership and we had all our family there. And the hotel i remember, in fact my family told me and said: 'um we just wanna prepare you that you possibly will have some protestors protesting civil partnerships'. and my mother said 'let em protest! would you like to see someone have the shit beat outta them with a Chanel handbag??' and she did... um scott is um, introducing scott to my family was very easy, but getting to blend in with my family was very difficult.
becos everyone is just like me, there all like 'blubilalala'. and when we get together we like to have a really good time, we put on little shows for eachother, the kids'll sing, my mom'll sing, my dad will take off his shoes and hum... but um, scott sits down, nothing wrong with this, and reads a book. yep. 'The Ascent of Man.' So one year i said Scott look, you gotta get up, you gotta sing a song, you gotta do something to get involved okay? so he said okay, so he went downstairs and he spent about 10 minutes downstairs and got changed and then he came back up and when he came back up he was wearing a pair of hotpants, no shirt and a cowboy hat i said GET BACK UP THERE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? So he came back up a little later with a shirt on, and cap, a cowboy hat and he sang this song. and this song, is for Scott.
Скотти чудо же)))) ахахах)
